We All Looked Up by Tommy Wallach

I really enjoyed this book. It draws you in from the very beginning and keeps you drawed in until the end. It was very intriguing and sentimental at the same time. It also made you think. Would the end of the world be like that? With so much violence, destruction, and love? I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars just because some parts could get a little boring but other than those parts the book was very good. I recommend it to anyone that enjoys dystopian and end of the world type books.

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau

I really enjoyed “The Testing” and feel like it’s not as popular as I would expect. It is a very fast-paced dystopian about a girl named Malencia Vale (also known as Cia) who gets chosen by the United Commonwealth to attend The Testing. The Testing is a three part test that determines new government leaders by choosing the top graduates from all over to take part in the tests. Little did Cia know, it was a little more than she bargained for. You will find yourself flipping through this book very quickly not wanting to stop. I recommend this to grades 6 and up and rate it a 5 out of 5 stars.
